今年的台灣，很不平靜，五月捷運喋血，七月澎湖空難，8/1 高雄氣爆... 歷史可以被原諒，但不能被遺忘，希望我們都能在傷痛中重新尋找奮起的力量，並尊重專業與恪守職業道德以避免悲劇重演。8/3，我們家三姊弟一起在全家超商捐出了自己的一日所得，幫助這些不幸蒙難的朋友們儘速重建家園。而身邊的家人、朋友，也要好好關心珍惜彼此唷!!!

還記得之前在學生時代，第一次讀到 latanoprost (Xalatan), travoprost (Travatan), unoprostone (Rescula), bimatoprost (Lumigan) 這些 Prostaglandin F2α analogue 這類藥物時 ，發現它可能會造成睫毛增生 (trichomegaly) 與角膜變色的副作用，就覺得：「哇！這種副作用也太酷了！」
不過... 這類藥物在臨床的效果並不一定有效就是了 [1]，但是目前 FDA 仍有核准 bimatoprost (Lumigan) 用於睫毛增長之適應症。

除了廣為人知的 PGF-2α analogue 之外，用於非小細胞肺癌的 erlotinib (Tarceva) 在 2007 年起，也有陸續有報告指出 erlotinib 可能會造成睫毛增長 [2]。
上個月，JAMA 又分享了一個 Erlotinib-associated trichomegaly 的案例報告 [3]：
" 這是個 60 多歲的女性，服用 erlotinib 兩年半之後，開始出現睫毛增長的狀況，而且增長的問題還需要定期修剪來處理。 "

嗯... 這個藥這麼貴 ($ 1,251 NTD)，睫毛增長副作用的發生率也很低，我想應該是不會有人想把它拿來長睫毛才是~
